Library, Information Science, and Technology Abstracts is a free research database for library and information science studies. LISTA provides indexing and abstracting for hundreds of key journals, books, research reports. It is EBSCO's intention to provide access to this resource on a continual basis. Subjects include bibliometrics, cataloging, classification, information management, and more.
European Views of the Americas: 1493 to 1750 is a free archive of indexed publications related to the Americas and written in Europe before 1750. It includes thousands of valuable primary source records covering the history of European exploration as well as portrayals of Native American peoples. The database also represents a wide range of topics, from the British/French/Dutch in America to natural disasters, religious orders, slavery and more.
EBSCO Open Dissertations now includes the content from American Doctoral Dissertations. It is a free database with records for more than 1.2 million electronic theses and dissertations from around the world.
GreenFILE is a free research database covering the environmental effects of individuals, corporations and governments and what can be done at each level to minimize negative impacts. It provides thousands of open access full-text records from scholarly, government and general interest sources. Subjects cover global climate change, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, and more.
The Teacher Reference Center is a complimentary research database for teachers that provides indexing and abstracts for more than 230 peer-reviewed journals. Subjects include assessment, best practices, continuing education, current pedagogical research, curriculum development, and more.
UNT Dallas Library is currently evaluating the database Psychotherapy.net.
Psychotherapy.net allows users to watch master therapists conducting psychotherapy sessions. The database offers a library of over 300 training videos featuring the leading practitioners in the field. Also included are articles, interviews, blogs, and cartoons related to psychotherapy field. (Trial will run through May 30, 2020.)
