Note: Remote (off-campus) access to electronic materials is reserved for current students, faculty and staff of UNT Dallas.
From off-campus, when you use the library website to access our subscribed services (e.g. databases, journals, articles), you should be prompted for your EUID and password. After signing in, you should have full access to the range of our subscription.
If you have problems accessing Electronic Resources try the following:
If none of these solutions work, please report the problem to the Ask-a-Librarian email. When reporting a problem, list the name of the database, the name of the article (if applicable), and a description of the error. We will contact you when the issue has been resolved.
Virtual private networking (VPN) is a campus IT service that provides secure remote access to university network resources. However, VPN does not make your off-campus computer or device appear to be on campus. To access the library's electronic resources, you will still need to go through the UNT Dallas Libary site and authenticate as always with your EUID and password. Users may access UNT Dallas Library electronic resources by signing in through the AnyConnect Client documented here. Note: The browser-based client does not work well for many resources. Download and use the AnyConnect Client instead.
The Office of Information Technology help desk is your point of contact for all technology related questions or problems at UNT Dallas. The OIT help desk is committed to providing outstanding customer service and technical assistance for all of your technology needs.
