Congress in Context reports cover the 1st to last Congress (reports are written after the Congress is complete).

Use these reports to find out more about what was happening during the time period in question. 

Scroll down the list to find the time period you are researching and open the report. 

The reports have a consistent format with sections on Historical Background, War or Peace etc. 

Reports are approximately  6-10 pages long.

Each section has footnotes and users have access to all cited content, even those that are not part of your institution's purchases.
