MLA 9th Edition Guide: Work Cited Page

The list of works cited appears at the end of the paper.

Center the heading, Works Cited an inch from the top of the page. If only one work is listed, then the header should read Work Cited. 

The first cited work should appear on the next double-spaced line. 

The first line of each entry should be flushed to the left. 

Each entry should be entered with a hanging indent (all lines of an entry are indented except for the first line.

Most Word process programs can set entries as hanging indent.
